Crown of Crowns is a richly imagined Afrofuturist novel set across interwoven worlds — a high-tech urban society and a grounded traditional village — where the death of a king sets a dangerous power struggle in motion. At its centre is Akani, the ambitious son of political strategist Obasi, who is dispatched in the dead of night to a remote village to stake his family’s claim to the throne. Meanwhile, in the village of Hadiza, a young man named Moussa navigates community life, love, and moral dilemmas — including a black market peddling a dangerous substance called s-Lowazium. With themes of legacy, ambition, loyalty, and the tension between tradition and modernity, the story weaves together political intrigue and human connection against a vivid, culturally grounded African backdrop.
